Our programs and services are primarily funded through Medicaid and occasionally supported by local funds. Clients must apply for enrollment and be accepted. In Ohio, this is typically done through your local county board of developmental disabilities.
Enrolling in a Waiver
Waivers provide one way to cover the services a person with developmental disabilities may need. In some cases, your needs can be met without a waiver if other resources are available, such as:
- Funding or services through a county board of developmental disabilities
- Services covered by Ohio Medicaid benefits
- Other local services
Your county board will assist you in identifying and coordinating services to meet your needs using all available resources. If a waiver is necessary, your county board can also guide you through the enrollment process.
Reach out to your county board of developmental disabilities to discuss the supports you need and learn what services may be available.
If a waiver is required, you will also need to apply for state Medicaid benefits. Your county board can help with this process. Alternatively, you can complete the Medicaid application and check your benefits online. For more information, visit benefits.ohio.gov.
Private Pay
For individuals who do not qualify for a Medicaid waiver, we accept private pay or out-of-pocket payments. To learn more, contact us at 440-996-5433 or send payment-related inquiries to info@ccalohio.com
